Cha Gao, or tea resin, is a very unique and rare style of tea processing that dates to the Qing Dynasty.

A truly special treat, made entirely from Jingmai mountain area ripened pu-erh tea. Aged 2016 spring harvest puer tea was carefully processed into rare and high-quality Cha Gao. Nice cacao, sweet and ripe pu-erh taste.
 

Each piece is approximately 0.5 grams and individually wrapped, making them perfect for making tea on the go! We recommend dissolving 1 piece in about 250-350ml of hot water.  They can also be dissolved in cold water as well, but might take more time.

Caffeine Warning: Due to the highly concentrated nature of Cha Gao, they also contain a high amount of caffeine. It is advised to keep a single serving to no more than 1 piece (0.5g) and to avoid entirely if you are sensitive to caffeine. Approximately 90mg caffeine per 1g.
