This is an extremely unique and special tea from 2012. It is a Hua Zhuan brick that is composed entirely of wild tea leaves harvested in Liu Bu Xi area of An Hua county in Hunan. Compressed into large 2 kilogram bricks and then stored for 12+ years. Resulting in a thick creamy dark tea with subtle pear-like fruitiness. A very complex and broad flavor/aroma profile.
This is sold as small squarish pieces by weight.
We recommend brewing this with the hottest water possible and in a thick-walled tea pot or insulated thermos/container to retain heat. It can be re-steeped multiple times and the flavor continues to evolve with each brewing.
