So, to those who play tabletop EDH, does anyone have a deck that you built just for shenanigans? I have a Maelstrom Wanderer deck that does just that. The deck runs heavy and randomized interaction cards such as Confusion in the Ranks, Planar Chaos, Warp World, The Great Aurora, Thieves' Auction, Risky Bet, Scrambleverse, Hive Mind, Eye of the Storm, Wild Evocation, Possibility Storm and my absolute favorite card in the deck: Goblin Game. Playing this deck with Planeschase or Archenemy really makes the game ridiculous. The funniest part is that this deck is also so disruptive to combo decks that it more or less locks combo players out of the game.

I totally agree!
I played a game once that required a graphing calculator and advanced math to calculate the damage. I love games and decks that stretch the limits beyond where they were meant to go. It is even better when you have a few people of the same mindset in your group and things get truly insane. When a turn takes 30+ minutes and requires multiple opinions and rule checks, you know you are doing it right! :)
Yes! This is my kind of Magic! I've always been the one in my group to run some absurd decks that were meant to seem silly and even useless until the bomb drops and watching their faces as the realization hits them is one of the best things ever. Way back in the day I had created a Deranged Hermit deck that would generate infinite squirrels. When MH2 came out and brought back squirrels I began working on an EDH squirrel deck as an homage to my original Deranged Hermit deck. Earthcraft and Squirrel Nest are big players as well as Vitalize. Harmony of Nature was a new addition to the mix, which is fun for infinite life or, even if not infinite, a ton of lifegain. I recently played with an old friend that I hadn't seen in ~15 years and the instant he saw Deranged Hermit hit the table he started laughing uncontrollably. :) I love the psychological aspects of Magic and I also really enjoy decks that mess with the politics and psychology of everyone else playing. Decks where I become the clear lightning rod for everyone, but where they are placed into a quandary where, while I am impacting them, I am also impacting everyone else to the point that they end up leaving me alone and are constantly struggling with the dilemma. Similarly, where there is both carrot and stick to the point that attacking or targeting me results in an equal or worse outcome for them directly from everyone else. Watching their anguish and internal struggle every turn is one of my greatest joys. I love the fun and humor and RNG that the concept you shared has. I am usually meticulous about limiting or eliminating sources of randomness from any deck I build because I want consistency and as little, of what I can control, to be random, so running into that would drive me insane in the best way possible!
